Cocker Spaniel's Adorable Photoshoot With A Canadian Mountie Is A Treasure

Although many dog owners dress up their four-legged friends for Halloween, some dedicated pet parents indulge in pet costumes year-round. There are so many festive occasions when a dog's outfit would be perfect, from holidays and birthdays to special events like vacations. So why not dress up a pup who doesn't mind it?

That's definitely the mindset that Milo the Cocker Spaniel has with his many outfits, but he has one special costume that's sent his followers into a tizzy. This world-traveling dog dressed up as a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (AKA a Mountie), and it's the greatest thing I've ever seen! The cherry on top of the late October Instagram post is that an actual Mountie met up with Milo to pose for pictures!

OMG--how cute is this? This English Cocker Spaniel's Mountie costume is as good as it gets, and he looks absolutely fabulous in red. Of course, the little Canadian flag in his mouth is the perfect detail, too! Even so, nothing about this photo makes me quite as happy as the smile on Cst. McGrattan's face as she poses with Milo @the_adventure_cocker.

In fact, the Constable's uniform matches the pup's costume so perfectly! All Milo is missing is a band on his hat, and then he's good to go. Let's just say commenter @roxy8020 was right when she said, "Milo should be their mascot!" He would make the cutest little Mountie, wouldn't he?

Even though this friendly Cocker Spaniel isn't an official mounted officer, the team at the Airdrie, Alberta department was as welcoming as could be. It's great to know that they loved the dog's costume, too!

Dogs Trust In Norfolk Want Home For Cocker Spaniel Billy

A pooch, whose favourite thing to do is play and go on long walks, is struggling to find his forever home even though he has so much love to give.

Billy is an eight-year-old cocker spaniel who has been at Dogs Trust in Snetterton for four months.

Expect lots of cuddles from Billy, as fussing is one of his favourite things to do, but he does not like to share his toys so would need to live in a childfree-house with no other dogs.

He is sociable out on his walks and likes to make friends with other dogs.

The excitable pooch does not realise how strong he is out on walks so it is important his new owner will be able to hold him on a lead.

His new family need to either have past experience owning dogs or will need to work with the team at Dogs Trust to get to know Billy.

A spokesperson for Dogs Trust said: "Billy is full of character and will make a wonderful addition for active owners, who can keep him entertained with all his favourite activities."

If you think you could open your heart as well as your home to Billy visit the Dogs Trust website and go to rehoming.
