Restaurants are allowed to reopen today with 50% capacity limits. With that it's time to support local and maybe try a place you haven't yet.

Tim Bolen visited the newly renovated La Piazza Allegra, which has been in downtown Hamilton for 25 years.

Although they did takeout during the shutdowns, a meal is just not the same from a takeout container. Owner Mark Farrugia is ready to have people back in to enjoy the experience of eating in a restaurant and trying their Italian dishes.

La Piazza Allegra at 180 James Street S. will open again for dining in on Wednesday.
